Holden had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They didn't even let the West Platte Bluejays on the board, marking their second-straight 9-0 shutout. Give the Eagles' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Holden pushed their record up to 17-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for West Platte, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-6.
