Soccer Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Musselman on Wednesday, Jefferson came back down to earth. The Cougars came up short against the Oak Hill Red Devils on Friday, falling 4-1. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Jefferson it sure didn't stay that way.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Oak Hill, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Greenbrier East on the 23rd. As for Oak Hill, they have also already played their next matchup, a 5-0 win against South Charleston on the 23rd.
