Volleyball Recap: Westminster Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Saturday. Westminster Christian Academy fell 2-0 to West Limestone. Westminster Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as West Limestone apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13.

Addie Mcwhorter paced Westminster Christian Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Mcwhorter got some help from Azlyn Leatherwood and her 11 assists. Leatherwood was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Westminster Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for West Limestone, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-8.

Westminster Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Mars Hill Bible on the 13th. As for West Limestone, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering on the 13th.
