Soccer Game Preview: Nathan Hale vs. Chief Sealth

The Nathan Hale Raiders will challenge the Chief Sealth Seahawks at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Nathan Hale's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Nathan Hale and West Seattle have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Seattle.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chief Sealth, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over Franklin on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what Chief Sealth needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Chief Sealth's win bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Nathan Hale, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-3.

Nathan Hale came out on top in a nail-biter against Chief Sealth when the teams last played on April 1st, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Seahawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
