Basketball Recap: Bevier Comes Up Short

Bevier extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 6-8. They were outmatched by the Northwestern Eagles and fell 51-18. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for Northwestern, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-11. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northwestern to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hudson Harms, who posted 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The contest was Harms' third in a row with at least 15 points. Noah Mauzey was another key player, putting up 12 points and six boards.

Bevier has already played their next game (against Tina-Avalon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Northwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
