Basketball Game Preview: Custer Wildcats vs. Hot Springs Bison

The Custer Wildcats will face off against the Hot Springs Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hot Springs took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Custer, who comes in off a win.

Custer took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Lead-Deadwood with a sharp 74-51 win. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Hot Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-48 heartbreaker at the hands of Mahpiya Luta.

Custer's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points over those games. As for Hot Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
