Strom Thurmond's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Saluda Tigers 3-0. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Strom Thurmond walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 25-10.

Leigh Anne Strock paced Strom Thurmond's offense, picking up 13 kills. Strock got some help from Blaire Ball and her 21 assists. Strock was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Strom Thurmond now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Saluda, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Strom Thurmond is set to take on their familiar foe Ninety Six at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Saluda will face off against rival Batesburg-Leesville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
