Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Delta

Delta extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping them up to 10-9. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Wapahani Raiders. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

As for Wapahani, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Wapahani's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lyla Chambers, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Delta has already played their next game, a 19-2 defeat against Yorktown on the 9th. As for Wapahani, they will host Lapel at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
