Basketball Recap: Kaden Brown's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Archbishop Ryan over Holy Cross

The Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls came up short against the Holy Cross Knights on Saturday and fell 63-53.

Several Raiders and Ragdolls players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaden Brown, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 16 points. Another player making a difference was Seth Gaye, who posted seven points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Archbishop Ryan's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. Those home losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points over those games. As for Holy Cross, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
