Volleyball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Plateau Valley + How To Watch

Plateau Valley proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Caprock Academy Eagles, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cowboys have posted since October 8, 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (103-99) Plateau Valley actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 16-25, 18-25, 15-9.

Kyanna Himes paced Plateau Valley's offense, picking up 21 kills. Himes got some help from Lexi Taylor and her 22 assists. Siena FIno controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Looking ahead, Plateau Valley will challenge Grand Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cowboys are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Caprock Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Soroco on the 30th.
