Basketball Recap: South Central Comes Up Short

South Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 65-58 defeat to the Eastern Musketeers. That's two games in a row now that the Rebels have lost by exactly seven points.

South Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Eastern, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

South Central will challenge Cannelton on Tuesday. As for Eastern, they will take on Shawe Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
