Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sharon Academy). They enjoyed a cozy 44-30 win over the Proctor Phantoms on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Phoenix as it put an end to their 13-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Sharon Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-12. As for Proctor, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Sharon Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Leland & Gray at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Proctor, they are taking a road trip to challenge White River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. White River Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Proctor surely won't give up without a fight.
