NCSSM: Durham won the last time they faced Voyager Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Unicorns came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Unicorns.

NCSSM: Durham had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 6-25, 25-10, 25-18, 26-24.

Their offense was headlined by Cornelia Okonkwo and Aanya Prashanth, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Chloe Harnphanich and her 27 assists. Leira Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

NCSSM: Durham's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Voyager Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. NCSSM: Durham is set to challenge their familiar foe Raleigh Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Voyager Academy will square off against rival Franklin Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
