Softball Recap: Oshkosh West Comes Up Short

Oshkosh West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 8-4 to the Kimberly Papermakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Papermakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in April.

Oshkosh West's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Kimberly, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3-1.

Oshkosh West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-7 tie against Oshkosh North on the 16th. As for Kimberly, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Kaukauna on the 16th.
