Baseball Game Preview: Valley Forge Patriots vs. Normandy Invaders

Valley Forge is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Normandy a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Valley Forge Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Normandy Invaders at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Valley Forge is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell just short of Westlake by a score of 10-9 on Tuesday.

Andrew Anderson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Normandy's offense. They lost 9-0 to Avon Lake on Friday.

Normandy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Wolf, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Normandy's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Valley Forge, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Valley Forge came out on top in a nail-biter against Normandy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 6-4. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Invaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
