Basketball Recap: Stevenson Skates Past Thurston with Ease

Stevenson won the last time they faced Thurston and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Stevenson Spartans blew past the Thurston Eagles, posting a 63-25 win. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 23 points or more this season.

Stevenson's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Thurston, they moved to 13-9 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Stevenson will be taking part in a tournament against Mercy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mercy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. Thurston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
