The Second Baptist Eagles will venture away from home to  face off against the Logos Prep Academy Lions  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
On Thursday, Second Baptist came up short against Lutheran South Academy  and fell  3-1. The Eagles have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 23-25,  25-18.
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Logos Prep Academy, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Bay Area Christian  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Lions have posted  since September 6th.
 If you add up the scores from across all five sets (106-104) Logos Prep Academy actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 16-25, 29-27, 25-20, 19-25,  15-9.
Second Baptist better keep an eye on  Sarai Messa. She was instrumental in Logos Prep Academy's win,  getting 25  digs and two assists. Those  25  digs gave  Messa a new career-high.
 Logos Prep Academy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 14  aces. They are 6-1 when  they serve at least ten aces.
 Second Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Logos Prep Academy,  the  victory snapped their losing streak at three matches  and leaves them with a 16-14-1 record.
 Second Baptist suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Logos Prep Academy  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
