Port Jervis took a loss when they played away from home last Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They took down Fallsburg 37-23. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Comets: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Liberty was beaten by Beacon 74-17 on Monday. The Indians have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Port Jervis, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Everything came up roses for Port Jervis against Liberty in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 54-27 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Port Jervis since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
