Volleyball Recap: Cheylin Takes Down Moscow in a Playoff Battle

Cheylin extended their postseason success on Saturday against Moscow. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Moscow Wildcats.

Cheylin easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-5.

Gabi Pochop paced Cheylin's offense, picking up seven kills. Pochop got some help from Ashlyn Schields and her 14 assists. Taylor McCarty controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Cheylin has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-15 record this season. As for Moscow, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-13-1.

Cheylin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Ingalls on the 26th. Moscow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
