Soccer Recap: Carter Has No Trouble Against Claiborne

Claiborne kept up with Carter until halftime on Monday, but afterwards: not so much. The Green Hornets were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Bulldogs. It was an even better day for Suzannah Mae Anderson as she scored three goals for her team.

The victory got Carter back to even at 2-2-1. As for Claiborne, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Carter will head out on the road to challenge Northview Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Claiborne, they will face off against Cumberland Gap at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cumberland Gap's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
