Volleyball Recap: West Jefferson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Jefferson managed to slip by Tree of Life Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Roughriders came up short against the Trojans on Monday, falling 3-0. The Roughriders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-14.

Julia Beatty paced West Jefferson's offense, picking up 12 kills. Beatty got some help from Mary Ava Wills and her nine assists. Maddie Carruthers controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Megan Donnally had an outrageously good game for Tree of Life Christian as she had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces Donnally has posted over her last nine contests. Klark Wilkinson also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

West Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Tree of Life Christian, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

West Jefferson has already played their next game (against Cedarville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Tree of Life Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Madison Christian on the 23rd.
