Soccer Recap: Pierce Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Pierce's offense. They lost 3-0 to the Rio Linda Knights on Friday. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pierce now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Rio Linda, their win bumped their record up to 2-3-1.

Pierce didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 loss against Corning on the 13th. As for Rio Linda, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Lindhurst on the 13th.
