Layton and Ogden are an even 3-3-2 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Layton Lancers will challenge the Ogden Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Layton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

Layton had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt West Field on Tuesday. Layton was the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over West Field. The win was familiar territory for the Lancers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

They hit West Field with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Edwin Tamoua (2), Crew Hawley (2), Logan Burton, and Isaac Kartchner.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Ogden took on West on Tuesday. Ogden's defense stepped up to hand West a 1-0 shutout. The Tigers' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Layton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Ogden, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
