Baseball Recap: Cheyenne Wells Takes a Loss

Cheyenne Wells and Merino squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Cheyenne Wells had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rams, falling 12-0. Considering the last time the Tigers couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Cheyenne Wells' loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Merino, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Cheyenne Wells does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Merino, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-3 win against Eads on the 10th.
