Baseball Recap: Greene Central Has No Trouble Against Washington

Greene Central won the last time they faced Washington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rams blew past the Pam Pack 14-4. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Easton Creech was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Greene Central's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-6 when he doesn't).

In other batting news, Mason Dillon was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Logan Burress was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3.

The victory got Greene Central back to even at 6-6. As for Washington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Greene Central will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pam Pack: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
