Softball Recap: Weber Falls to Clearfield in First Game of Season

Weber had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Clearfield Falcons by a score of 11-9. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Aliya Rheess made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Kulpa, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Weber has already played their next match, a 17-2 loss against Mountain Ridge on the 10th. As for Clearfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 20-2 win against Kanab on the 7th.
