Softball Recap: Panguitch Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Panguitch and Grand County squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Panguitch had to settle for second. They lost 8-2 to the Red Devils. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Panguitch saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Larsen, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Panguitch's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Grand County, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Panguitch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grand County, they will square off against Altamont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Longhorns have averaged an impressive 11.2 runs per game this season.
