West Texas extended their postseason success on Saturday against Tahoka. They had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Comanches have posted since March 25th.

West Texas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-6-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Tahoka, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Texas beat the Bulldogs by a score of 8-7 on Monday.
