Football Recap: Copiague Falls to Deer Park in First Game of Season

Copiague had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 21-20 to the Deer Park Falcons. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Copiague will take on rival Newfield at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th. Meanwhile, Deer Park is set to challenge their familiar foe West Babylon at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th.
