Basketball Recap: Sugar Hill Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Two

If Old Suwanee Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sugar Hill Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Tyler Veugeler. The Sugar Hill Christian Academy Stallions walked away with a 55-46 win over the Old Suwanee Christian Conquerors on Tuesday thanks in part to Veugeler, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine boards. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Randall Fanning, who posted four points along with ten rebounds and six assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Sugar Hill Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 10-14. As for Old Suwanee Christian, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Sugar Hill Christian Academy will be playing at home against North Georgia HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Old Suwanee Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against Trinity Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
