Volleyball Recap: Ryan Comes Up Short

Ryan lost against Keller Central last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Raiders fell 2-0 to the Chargers. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-12.

Evangeline Trahan paced Ryan's offense, picking up seven kills. Trahan got some help from Emery Hodge and her five assists. Hodge was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Ryan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Keller Central, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

Ryan has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Mansfield on the 21st. Keller Central has also already played their next contest (against Azle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
