Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Hononegah Indians, falling 96-52. The J-Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-36.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hononegah, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jefferson will challenge rival Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hononegah is set to square off against their familiar foe Harlem at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
