Basketball Recap: Medina Valley Takes a Loss

If Medina Valley was riding high fresh off their 75-46 takedown of LEE last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Medina Valley Panthers were dealt a 74-45 loss at the hands of the Alexander Bulldogs on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 52nd).

Medina Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Alexander, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Medina Valley will take on United in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alexander and Eagle Pass will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
