Lake Creek waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Huntsville Hornets onto the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won ten games by five goals or more so far this season.

Lake Creek pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Huntsville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lake Creek duke it out with the A&M Consolidated at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in A&M Consolidated's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last five games. As for Huntsville, they will face off against College Station at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
