Soccer Recap: Lake Hamilton Comes Up Short

If Lake Hamilton was feeling good fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Hot Springs last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Wolves came up short against the Benton Panthers on Friday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Lake Hamilton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Benton are ranked ninth).

Lake Hamilton now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Benton, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Meanwhile, Benton is set to challenge their familiar foe Sheridan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Benton are on a seven-game streak of home wins, Sheridan a six-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
