Football Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short at Home Against Plymouth + How To Watch

Monroe unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 7-0 to the Plymouth Wildcats on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Monroe and Plymouth could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Trojans (ranked 259th) will meet Dexter (ranked 45th) at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. Meanwhile, Plymouth will face off against Northville at 7:00 p.m. on September 5 with a big rank disadvantage (227 vs. 55).
