Pine Forest is 7-0 against Harnett Central since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Pine Forest Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Harnett Central Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Harnett Central took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Pine Forest, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Pine Forest earned a 55-43 victory over Triton.

Jaliyah Carter continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 19 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tahlia Glover, who posted eight points along with five boards and four steals.

Pine Forest was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Meanwhile, Harnett Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 60-23 loss at the hands of E.E. Smith. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-12.

The win got Pine Forest back to even at 10-10. As for Harnett Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.

Everything came up roses for Pine Forest against Harnett Central when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 53-18 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pine Forest since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
