They breezed by Uplift at home to the tune of 40-12. The result was nothing new for Chicago Marshall, who have now won three contests by 28 points or more so far this season.
Chicago Marshall's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chamarre Scott led the charge by scoring 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alysha Murphy, who scored 9 points along with 12 rebounds and 5 steals.
Chicago Marshall's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.33 points. As for Uplift, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Chicago Marshall will head out on the road to face off against Alcott at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Uplift, they will be playing at home against Instituto Health Sciences at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
