Football Recap: Hamshire-Fannett Takes a Loss

Hamshire-Fannett easily dispatched Shepherd last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Longhorns fell just short of the West Orange-Stark Mustangs by a score of 22-20 on Friday. While the Longhorns didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs 10-0 in the first quarter.

Although Hamshire-Fannett took the loss, they still got scores from Jess Folsom and Dwayne Long.

Hamshire-Fannett moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for West Orange-Stark, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Hamshire-Fannett nor West Orange-Stark have any future games scheduled.
