Guyer is a perfect 5-0 against Little Elm since November of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will square off against the Lobos at 7:00 p.m. Guyer knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Little Elm likes a good challenge.
Little Elm better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Guyer's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when Guyer really gets things going. The Wildcats took their game with ease, bagging a 52-21 victory over Marcus. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Marauders are ranked 92nd).

Kaedyn Cobbs
| 10/16/25 vs Marcus | 238 |
| 10/03/25 @ Coppell | 176 |
| 11/22/24 vs Pearce | 151 |
| 09/12/25 vs North Crowley | 140 |
| 09/05/25 @ Martin | 109 |
Kaedyn Cobbs had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 238 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Those 238 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Cobbs was just one part of a punishing run game: Guyer was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 357 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 154 rushing yards in 11 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Guyer's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB 4.5 times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece ( Khyren Haywood also recorded half a sack). Guyer received some extra help from Caleb Fowler, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Little Elm played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Hebron 40-13. The Lobos were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-0.
Guyer pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.3 points over those games. As for Little Elm, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. Guyer has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 233 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Little Elm, though, as they've been averaging only 75.1 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Everything came up roses for Guyer against Little Elm when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 49-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
