Niles West's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-16. As for Vernon Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Niles West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-28 defeat against Glenbrook North on the 27th. Vernon Hills has also already played their next contest, a 60-51 win against Grant Community on the 27th.
