Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Howell walked away with it. They blew past the Hartland Eagles 12-6 on Saturday. The Highlanders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 contests by six runs or more this season.
Addison Caldwell was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Sophia May was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Howell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .486. They are 18-2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Howell is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 25-13-1 record this season.
