Baseball Game Preview: Cypress Springs Panthers vs. Langham Creek Lobos

For the second straight game, Cypress Springs will face off against Langham Creek. Cypress Springs will welcome Langham Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cypress Springs is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cypress Springs' offense. They came up short against Langham Creek on Tuesday, falling 10-0.

For Langham Creek's part, they got a great performance from Adam McNew as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. What's more, McNew gave up only three hits, the fewest he's had since back in February.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Santiago Hernandez, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Aydan Moreira, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Langham Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cypress Springs only posted an OBP of .263.

Cypress Springs' loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Langham Creek, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-14.
