University and Manchester squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but University had to settle for second. They took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Squires. The Trailblazers' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Manchester had a senior duo take command as Gavin Betten dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds and Ethan Hendrix went 7-for-15 to rack up 21 points. Betten is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in each of the last 24 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Kline, who scored five points.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Manchester, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-2.
