Soccer Recap: Pekin Comes Up Short

Pekin managed to keep up with Morton until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Dragons lost 3-0 to the Potters. Pekin have struggled against Morton recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Pekin now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Morton, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Pekin is taking a road trip to challenge Moline at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morton, they will be playing at home against Rochester at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rochester will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Morton surely won't give up without a fight.
