Baseball Recap: Patterson Takes a Loss

Patterson lost against Tracy back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Patterson Tigers fell just short of the Tracy Bulldogs by a score of 11-9.

Max Medina put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Medina was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Medina is also crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's stole at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Guy Allard was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cole Medina, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Patterson now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Tracy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Coming up, Patterson is taking a road trip to take on El Capitan at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tracy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Manteca at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Manteca is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
