Softball Recap: Saranac Lake Comes Up Short

Saranac Lake and Saranac squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Saranac Lake had to settle for second. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 16-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Storm in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost six in a row.

Saranac Lake's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Saranac, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
