Soccer Game Preview: West vs. Cyprus

The West Panthers will take on the Cyprus Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

West managed to keep up with Granger until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Panthers came up short against the Lancers, falling 3-0. West have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cyprus, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-2 margin over Kearns on Friday. The result was nothing new for Cyprus, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Cyprus' victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those five matches. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
