Volleyball Recap: Tokay Wins Going Away Against Chavez

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Edison, Tokay was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Chavez Titans with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-16.

Ava Pasqualicchio paced Tokay's offense, picking up 14 kills. Pasqualicchio got some help from Tatum Stewart and her 11 assists. Bella Breech controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Tokay's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Chavez, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tokay will take on rival Stagg at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Chavez is set to face off against their familiar foe McNair at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
