Basketball Recap: Greene County Takes a Loss

Greene County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 49-42 to the Woodward Academy Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 52-47 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2020.

Greene County's record now sits at 3-12. As for Woodward Academy, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Greene County has already played their next matchup, an 82-63 defeat against Prairie City-Monroe on the 24th. Woodward Academy has also already played their next contest (against Interstate 35), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
